Software Engineer
UPROSPECT
• Support the development team by automating repetitive internal tasks. • Build automation for internal processes, both inside engineering and across other departments. • Triage and clear the bug backlog, including bugs in AI-generated code. • Monitor and respond to internal security alerts and error alerts. • Work through backlog tasks and internal compliance requirements. • Build internal dashboards and reporting for the engineering team. • Write scripts and prompts; manage context and select the right model for each task. • Check the reliability of agent-generated and model-generated code before it ships.
Job Requirements
- 2–3 years of professional software development experience
- Solid foundation in JavaScript and Node.js
- Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience building and consuming APIs (REST, GraphQL) and webhooks
- Familiarity with MCP (Must have)
- Comfort with version control (Git) and standard development tooling
- Serverless architecture or Terraform a plus
- Real fluency with AI-assisted development: coding agents such as Cursor or Claude
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Strong problem-solving instinct
- Above-average written and spoken English
