Role Description Cobalt Management Services LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to support the company's growing digital presence and content operations for both Cobalt and PPF. Working 10–15 hours per week, this role is execution-focused and sits at the intersection of web content, case study production, and social media. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with an eye for formatting and consistency, comfortable working independently in a remote environment, and genuinely interested in the nonprofit sector. This is an excellent opportunity to build hands-on marketing experience within a mission-driven organization. You will play a key role in achieving our marketing goals, ensuring operational excellence, and upholding the strong reputations of both Cobalt and PPF, the nation’s leading provider of fiscal sponsorship. Responsibilities and Duties - Social Media Planning, Publishing & Execution - Contribute to weekly and monthly content calendars - Assist in scheduling and publishing content across: - Facebook - Instagram - LinkedIn - Twitter/X - Support posting cadence of at least two (2) posts per week per channel for each organization - Adapt content formats and captions for platform-specific best practices - Engage with followers, clients, partners, and stakeholders - Monitor and respond to conversations, comments, and messages, escalating as appropriate - Website & Case Study Content Support - Assist with minor website content updates as needed, including: - Updating copy on existing pages - Adding new projects and removing old projects - Supporting basic content updates - Format case studies for use across the website, social media, and marketing materials - Perform other duties and special projects as assigned - SEO Research & Support - Use Semrush to research relevant keywords and identify content opportunities aligned with both PPF and Cobalt’s target audiences and service lines - Conduct basic on-page SEO audits using Semrush and flag issues such as missing meta descriptions, thin content, or broken links for review - Assist with incorporating target keywords into website copy, blog posts, and case studies as directed Qualifications - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field - Strong writing skills with an ability to match and maintain brand voice - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively - Personable, respectful, and collaborative in team settings - Open to receiving and applying constructive feedback - Highly motivated with strong organizational and communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) - Familiarity with major social media platforms and content formats - Experience with marketing tools a plus (Canva, Asana, Semrush preferred) - Experience with data management platforms a plus (HubSpot preferred) Additional Information - Part-time position, 10-15 hours per week - Remote; flexible scheduling within standard business hours - Internship may be eligible for academic credit—candidates should confirm with their institution - Technology Requirements: Interns must have access to a personal laptop (Windows or Mac) capable of running standard business applications, along with reliable high-speed internet.
