Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. - Minimum of 10+ years of related work experience leading and developing Statewide Transportation Systems, Planning and Design projects, preferably within the Aviation. - Hold a current Professional Engineering Licensure. - Aviation or Airfield Planning/Design Subject Matter Expertise in one or more areas of existing and emerging design and construction solutions which include: Airfield, Vertical, Airport Layout Plans, Master Plans, instrument approaches, site civil grading drainage and utilities, pavements, airfield lighting and navigational aids, facility planning studies and site development. - Thorough knowledge and understanding of FAA Planning and Design Advisory Circulars. - Experience with public-private partnerships, Geographic Information Systems, and Asset Management desired but not required. - Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. - Strong overarching business acumen required, including Microsoft Office products. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment. - Quickly adapt and respond to industry changes as well as internal initiatives.
