• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in area of specialty • Identifying and implementing process and efficiency improvements in favor of change safety • Improving tools, alerts, documentations, and procedures in favor of change safety • Maintaining positive relationships across the teams • Collaborating with our global Change Safety Deployment team to maintain consistent workflows across the group
Job Requirements
- Have 3 + years relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant related technical field
- Possess experience of administering, monitoring and resolving issues in a high availability platform environment
- Demonstrate experience of Linux/Unix system and good knowledge of SQL and Scripting languages
- Be experienced in network technologies and internet protocols such as TCP/IP, WAN and DNS
- Be a team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in an ever-changing environment
- Have excellent communication and written skills to articulate technical information to internal teams and customers.

• Execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines. • Deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. • Work with customer to identify opportunities in the installed base, to improve system performance and operational performance. • Provide knowledge of and conduct work activities in compliance with the ABB HSE (Health, Safety and Environment), ABB Way, and Safety Manual & Safety policy at all times. • Responsible for hands-on execution of projects including Startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, engineering, design, and repair of Power Delivery equipment in respective area. • Lead outages with other field engineers, technicians, and contractors including project management, lead site engineer or site project manager. • Perform administrative functions such as writing technical reports, ordering materials, securing quotations, preparing job status reports, reports to customers, time sheet, and expense sheets on a complete timely, and thorough basis. • Plan, organize, and perform multifunctional field assignments in designated areas of expertise, directing the work of other field engineers and craft labor as required, in a timely and efficient manner. • Develop and further expand technical knowledge and expertise, currently recognized industry standards for engineering ability. • Plan, prepare, and/or instruct both internal and external training programs as required, to impart and perpetuate field engineering and/or product knowledge in area of specialization • Complete administrative functions in a timely manner associated with work.
