Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in SaaS sales or account management, ideally serving EMEA markets.
  • Proven track record of driving renewals and expansions in a high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in CRM tools, pipeline analytics, and forecasting.
  • Willingness and ability to work 12 pm–9 pm IST to align with EMEA business hours.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, not required; MBA is a plus.
  • Familiarity with advanced sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger, MEDDIC, SPIN).
  • Experience in a hyper-growth SaaS environment managing complex portfolios.

About the role: We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Associate Renewal Account Manager to own and execute the renewal strategy for a portfolio of existing customers. This individual will act as the primary point of contact for all transactional activities, exercising judgement in managing customer negotiations, coordinating cross-functional resources, and driving revenue retention outcomes. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with basic commercial acumen, capable of navigating complex customer environments and influencing renewal decisions with manager oversight. Rapid7 is a "hybrid" work environment. The expectation is that employees are in the office three days/ week, and remote for two days. At this time, we are only considering applicants who live in or around Metro Austin, Texas or Metro Boston, Massachusetts. Impact: This role directly impacts Rapid7's recurring revenue and customer retention strategy. The Associate Renewal Account Manager will: - Develop renewal plans for assigned customers, proactively identify risk & expansion opportunities - Analyze account performance data to forecast renewal outcomes & prioritize engagement - Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Channel, and Finance to ensure a seamless renewal experience that aligns with company goals.
