By leveraging state-of-the-art Quote-to-Cash technologies, the Revenue Cloud Solution Architect will help optimize sales and finance alignment, streamline operational processes, and deliver scalable, impactful solutions. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the success of solution designs, providing technical leadership, and delivering transformational and financially impactful client solutions. Position Overview The Revenue Cloud Solution Architect will lead the design, development, and implementation of Revenue Cloud and Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM) / Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) solutions for digital transformation initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure the delivery of tailored solutions that meet specific business requirements. Key Responsibilities Solution Design and Architecture Architect Comprehensive Solutions: Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions tailored for Revenue Cloud, focusing on areas such as Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) and Invoicing. Develop Blueprints: Create detailed architectural blueprints that incorporate integrations, customizations, and system configurations to ensure seamless functionality. Quote-to-Cash Optimization Evaluate Processes: Analyze existing product configuration, pricing, quoting, and ordering workflows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities. Implement Enhancements: Develop solutions that align with business goals, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and optimized performance across Quote-to-Cash processes. Stakeholder Collaboration and Management Engage Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, Sales Operations, IT, Legal, Accounting, and Finance, to define requirements and create roadmaps. Ensure Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between technical and business teams, fostering effective communication and shared understanding of project objectives. Implementation Leadership Guide Projects: Lead the implementation of Salesforce Revenue Cloud solutions, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. Oversee Technical Execution: Provide strategic direction and manage all phases of the implementation process, including design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Customization and Integration Leverage Tools: Utilize Salesforce-native tools and features, such as Product Catalog Management, Transaction Management, Dynamic Revenue Orchestration, and Invoice Management. Manage Integrations: Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems (e.g., Netsuite, Avalara, Stripe, DocuSign) and ensure data integrity during migrations. Continuous Improvement and Innovation Stay Current: Keep up with Salesforce updates and industry trends, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation. Recommend Solutions: Evaluate and introduce new features, tools, and processes to enhance Salesforce-based workflows and operational efficiency. Qualifications Experience Salesforce Expertise: A minimum of 4+ years working with Salesforce, with at least 3 years specializing in CPQ and Billing projects. Proven Track Record: Experience leading large-scale transformation projects, particularly in enterprise settings. Financial Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting operations, including billing, invoicing, payment processing, and revenue recognition fundamentals. Metrics Mastery: Familiarity with financial metrics such as ACV, TCV, ARR, and other performance indicators, with the ability to model and explain calculations effectively. CLM & E-Signature Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Document Generation, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), and e-signature solutions. Integration Skills: Knowledge of integrating Salesforce with third-party platforms, including Netsuite, Avalara, Stripe, DocuSign, SureTax, Chargent, or Dynamics 365. Technical Skills Salesforce Configuration: Proficient in Salesforce configuration, including objects, flows, Lightning components, and customizations. Custom Solutions: Experience in building and extending custom quoting and pricing solutions on the Salesforce platform. Development Skills: Familiarity with Apex and Omniscript is a plus. Data Analytics: Expertise in Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and sales performance analytics. Integration Tools: Knowledge of integration concepts and tools like MuleSoft, Workato, and REST/SOAP APIs. Leadership & Communication Effective Communication: Strong ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear, relatable manner to diverse audiences. Team Leadership: Proven skills in mentoring and guiding cross-functional teams, including analysts, developers, and consultants. Risk Management: Capable of identifying potential risks and communicating timeline adjustments effectively to stakeholders. Business Acumen Process Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Sales, Product Management, Billing, and Accounting workflows, and their interdependencies.
