Role Description We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electronics and be proficient in various technical areas, including computer networking, mechanical knowledge, and field service. This role involves working with security systems, surveillance equipment, and low-voltage installations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities - Install, maintain, and repair electronic systems including CCTV, fire alarms, and security systems. - Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site. - Utilize hand tools and power tools for installation and repair tasks. - Read and interpret schematics to understand system designs and layouts. - Collaborate with team members to design and implement new systems tailored to client needs. - Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during installations. - Provide training to clients on the operation of installed systems. - Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations. Qualifications - Proven experience as a service technician in the electronics or security industry. - Strong understanding of computer hardware and networking principles. - Familiarity with sensors, alarm systems, telecommunication equipment, and remote access software. - Experience with cabling for low-voltage applications is preferred. - Mechanical knowledge related to construction and installation processes is a plus. - Skills in locksmithing are advantageous for certain security system installations. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
