Role Description The Senior Wealth Advisor involves cultivating and managing relationships with high-net-worth clients, offering tailored financial planning and investment advice. Key responsibilities include: - Establish and maintain new client relationships. - Establish priorities/goals and meet timelines/deadlines for new client acquisition. - Develop existing client relationships with excellent verbal and written communication. - Present client reports and organize/run client meetings. - Participate as an active member of the Investment Committee. - Work with other team members to deliver exceptional client service. - Assist in financial planning process and implement recommendations with other advisors. - Rebalance portfolios, create recommendations, and implement strategy. - Ensure that client portfolios are managed according to the asset allocation as agreed upon by the client and Relationship Manager and as documented in the Investment Policy Statement (IPS). - Maintain basic knowledge of significant software applications (Orion, Redtail, and Microsoft Office). - Develop new processes and procedures when necessary to meet expected and required client service levels and client requests. - Stay current with changes in regulatory rules and regulations and industry practices. - Assist in the strategic development of the department. - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and department information and issues at all times. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree - Financial accreditations: CPA, PFS, CFP®, or CFA® - 7+ years of relevant financial planning and investment experience - Impeccable reputation in the securities industry with excellent regulatory history - Proficiency with Envestnet/Tamarac, Junxure (Preferred) - Securities 65 or 66 license (Preferred) Requirements - Significant experience with managing complex, individual and corporate client relationships. - Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills and the strong ability to multi-task. - Experience in acquiring and servicing wealth management clients. - Strong presentation and/or public speaking skills and written communication skills. - Proven team member management and interpersonal skills. - Positive, self-starter attitude and desire to exceed expectations at every opportunity. - Strong attention to detail, highly organized and focused on work quality. - Knowledge of operations for wealth management firm/Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). - Strong aptitude to learn, implement and use new software.
