Role Description As an Enterprise Architect, you will use your understanding and experience supporting organizations in public and private sectors to achieve their business outcomes through structured deployment of business applications, systems, interfaces, and common components. Your role will be to help clients with strategic IT investments as they transform their organizations through a combination of business and IT improvements. In this role you will draw on your wide array of current technical knowledge, industry trends and previous experience designing IT solutions to help our clients through discovering, analyzing, designing and delivering architectural assets that support the enterprise, including: - Working as part of project teams and at the enterprise level, defining strategic roadmaps and developing actionable plans for transformation. - Guiding organizations in alignment of IT investments with their strategic goals and objectives. - Supporting governance over IT and security of data, and the management of application portfolios. Effective systems design is key to keeping projects on track long term. Through your effective design efforts, we will deliver complete and effective solutions. In addition, your expertise will help us during the pre-sales phase to make sure we have the best possible chance of winning new business. Finally, your guidance will help less experienced developers grow in their development skills resulting in an overall better team. Once You Are Here, You Will: - Lead the development, confirmation and communication of the architectural vision to clients and development teams. - Engage at the C-suite level with clients to provide enterprise architectural guidance and solutions. - Review and develop strategic transformation plans and corresponding IT roadmaps. - Provide our clients with architectural guidance at the enterprise level and on projects. - Stabilize systems and processes to create a foundation for future growth. - Develop an understanding of our clients’ current IT investments, costs, support needs. - Develop future state enterprise architecture views and actionable plans. - Support transition to new systems and retirement of existing systems. - Guide IT innovation supporting modern digital experiences of our clients’ service offerings. - Provide guidance on protecting data in the enterprise and migration of secure data. - Contribute to multiple projects in parallel delivering under triple constraint (time, scope and resources). - Use internal tracking tools for potential and confirmed sales opportunities. - Lead an internal bid team and provide guidance during the bid process. Qualifications - 10+ years in architecting, designing and developing enterprise IT solutions. - 10+ years’ experience with a wide variety of technologies in large public and private sector organizations. - Led enterprise architecture for at least two multi-year organizational transformations with defined outcomes. - Experience designing and developing solutions for commercial cloud hyperscalers. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. - Experience providing IT Governance and guidance at the enterprise level. - Experience using Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and TOGAF. - 5+ years of experience with agile delivery. - Experience in environments with protected and sensitive data. - Experience engaging at all levels of an organization on both business and technical concerns. - Experience providing pre-sales support & comprehensive sales support including authoring or contributing to response for proposals. - Experience with Salesforce. - Demonstrated ability to communicate and present at a very senior level using a variety of verbal, written and visual methods. - Team and client leadership experience. Requirements - TOGAF certification (preferred). - Agile certification(s) (preferred). - Experience managing solutions/service line offerings through their entire life cycle and supports direction regarding enhancements throughout the lifecycle. - Experience applying advanced knowledge of application programming and the impact of the solutions on the business and IT functions. - Demonstrated ability to direct large projects or offer complex programming solutions. - Experience with migrating legacy applications to cloud-based platforms and management of secure access to data and resources. Benefits - Starting pay range for this remote role is $126,326 - $243,788. - Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. - This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
