Director, Sourcing
JLL
Role Description Lead and grow a high-performing S&P team for a large technology client. Work directly with S&P leadership, Account leadership and clients to manage expectations and team deliverables. This includes accountability for effectively managing, mentoring, recruiting, and developing a team of world-class Sourcing and Procurement professionals. - Provide impactful leadership in a cross-functional and collaborative environment to drive immediate and sustained benefits to our client and JLL. - Drive results through S&P program implementation, monitoring progress, managing to operational excellence guideline, and meeting account level KPIs and goals. - Oversee compliance and controls, develop new and innovative sourcing strategies, and identify opportunities for improvement. - Proactively manage internal and external expectations by understanding business needs and priorities. - Achieves Financial and Compliance Results: - Oversight of annual sourcing plan development, actively managing that plan with the business, and executing against it. - Annual Benchmarking of existing 3rd Party Contractor spend against external data points to help drive decision-making on sourcing plan. - Identify risks and opportunities to clients/stakeholders and recommend strategies to achieve company goals while mitigating risk. - Own sourcing compliance and controls, including Contract and COI compliance, RFx/Process Improvements, Diverse Spend, and adherence to Procurement Playbook. - Manage 3rd Party Supplier Performance Management Program, including collaboration with operations teams to develop scorecard through survey and CMMS metrics. - Ensure all sourcing technology tools are leveraged across all assigned accounts. - Partner teams closely with operations by providing management, detailed instruction and follow up to support the operations teams in standardized RFP/bid and contracting processes. - Develop and maintain systematic, analytical, and results-based method for savings, monitoring supplier’s performance, sourcing effectiveness and communicate these results to the business. - Develop and Lead High Performing Teams: - Recruit, develop, rotate, and retain top S&P talent. - Support the career development of key roles through mentoring and visible leadership. - Create high-performing, integrated sourcing teams that are committed to delivering sustainable operational excellence. - Manage and coach teams on their performance, progress and developmental goals. - Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture within and outside of direct reports. - Establishes and Nurtures Strong Relationships: - Ensure the vision and strategy of the client sourcing plan are implemented and aligned with necessary objectives. - Lead and participate in client meetings/strategy sessions. - Establish and maintain relationships with Account Director and other client leadership. - Provide strategic vision for all S&P aspects of business including best practices and innovation. - Effectively develop and lead complex short-term and longer-term sourcing strategies. - Establish relationships with key stakeholders including Corporate Legal and Risk Management. - Continually manage/assess suppliers through the established supplier performance management program. Qualifications - 8+ years of strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect categories related to facilities services highly desired along with people management experience. - Bachelor’s Degree – Business or Supply Chain Management preferred. - MBA, a plus. - CPM, CPSM or CPSD certification preferred. - Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS applications - Excel, Word & PowerPoint. - E-procurement experience, preferably Jaggaer. - Willingness to travel within the U.S. (approximately 25%). - This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
