Job Description

Technical Operations Specialist

Hyprwork

Role Description This is a hands-on technical operator role. Not a coordinator, not a project manager, not a marketing hire. You will work directly alongside our Technical Operations Director across a portfolio of DTC health and wellness brands and a B2B SaaS platform. Your job is to backstop, support, and eventually own large pieces of the technical operations stack so we have redundancy and coverage across funnels, stores, processors, and tracking. The framing is co-pilot. The technical operations function today runs through one person. The company needs a second person who can: - Fix anything that breaks across the funnel and store stack - Take ownership of meaningful pieces over time - Operate independently when the lead is in another part of the business You will learn fast, take on more responsibility quickly, and become the second responder when something goes wrong in production. You will be in Checkout Champ, Shopify admin, Meta Events Manager, and code editors every day. You will: - Write Liquid - Edit templates - Deploy tracking scripts - Configure processors - Ship fixes The standard is uptime, response speed, accuracy of work, and how much you take off the Technical Operations Director's plate over time. What You Will Own - Funnel Operations (Checkout Champ) - Building campaigns - Configuring products and upsells - Troubleshooting decline flows - Managing custom fields - Running post-purchase logic - Reading webhook payloads without a manual - Debugging a broken upsell live - Rebuilding flows under launch pressure - Storefront and Subscription Operations (Shopify) - Catalog management - Theme edits in Liquid - Subscription configuration - App integrations - Conversion fixes - Shipping template-level changes without escalating to a developer - Merchant Processing and Payments Infrastructure - MID management - Descriptor optimization - Chargeback response packaging - Processor communication - Gateway routing changes - Understanding card-not-present processor issues - Tracking, Attribution, and Pixel Operations - Pixel deployment - Server-side events through Meta CAPI - GTM and dataLayer configuration - Voluum routing - Postback verification - Debugging tracking discrepancies - Deploying fixes and verifying data flow end to end - Second-Responder Troubleshooting - Day-to-day troubleshooting across the stack - Documenting actions for future reference - Writing clearly enough for teammates to replicate fixes Qualifications - 2+ years hands-on with Checkout Champ at the operator level - 2+ years operating Shopify stores in a DTC or subscription environment - Working knowledge of card-not-present merchant processing - Comfortable with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Strong written communication skills Requirements - A builder mindset, not a ticket-closer - Comfortable with ambiguity - Reliable under pressure - Coachable and willing to learn Benefits - Fully remote position with real ownership over a critical part of the operating infrastructure - Competitive compensation - PTO, Marriage Leave, Bereavement Leave, and Parental/Adoption Leave - Welcome gift: $100 one-time payment upon joining - Wellness: $70/month - Birthday gift card: $50 (tier L6A) - In-country meetup: $40/person/year - Computer: $2,500 standard (first one in year 1, refresh every 3 years) - Quarterly performance bonus linked to individual KPIs + company revenue
