Job Description

National Sales Manager – Retirement, Large Markets

Transamerica

• Manage a team of external sales professionals in a defined geographic region. • Ensure productivity and sales goals are met. • Manage budget. • Recruit, hire and develop sales professionals for region. • Maintain insight into competition and industry at large; provide expert opinion to other areas within the organization. • Provide sales assistance to team members as needed. • Market and promote Transamerica Retirement Services. • Adhere, and ensure adherence, to industry, regulatory authority and other codes of conduct.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience
  • Experienced sales management professional with an in-depth understanding of the retirement market
  • FINRA Series 6 & 63 Life & Health License
  • Expert knowledge of ERISA
  • Outstanding public speaking and presentation skills; well organized in thoughts and actions.
  • Self-motivated and ability to thrive in a fast pace, high volume work environment
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Ability to motivate others, and establish trust and credibility
