• Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement analysis • Lead designated portions of the month-end and year-end close process and support accurate, timely financial reporting • Prepare financial reports, analyses, and variance explanations to support accounting leadership and business decision-making • Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records • Collaborate cross-functionally to support revenue and expense accruals and analyze financial statement fluctuations • Coordinate and support external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit inquiries • Determine methods and procedures to resolve complex accounting discrepancies and improve financial processes • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the finance function • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff and support departmental best practices • Coordinate directly with external auditors and internal stakeholders to support compliance and reporting requirements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or MBA preferred
- 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and analysis
- Previous experience in public accounting preferred
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial analysis principles
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making
- Proficiency with ERP systems, including experience with NetSuite or similar platforms
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets and financial models

Responsible for maintaining financial controls and confirming financial compliance through analysis and preparation of reporting over the revenue cycle. - Role is on-site 4 days a week with 1 day remote and base comp $110k-$115k base plus full benefits.
