The Manager, Customer Supply Chain will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer and retail partner experience across rhode’s growing retail business. This role will partner closely with Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Finance, Operations, and external retail partners to ensure strong execution across order management, inventory flow, service levels, launch planning, and ongoing customer supply chain performance. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires strong analytical skills, clear communication, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where processes are still being built. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable moving between day-to-day execution and longer-term process improvement. A core focus of this role will be building strong relationships with key retail partners, understanding their supply chain requirements, supporting innovation and promotional planning, identifying and mitigating supply risks, and using customer data to improve in-stocks, fulfillment, and overall service levels. What You'll Do - Serve as a key point of contact between rhode and retail customer operations teams, supporting day-to-day execution and customer-specific supply chain needs - Continually assess opportunities to improve customer supply chain, reduce operational costs, and drive volume through supply chain metrics - Develop a deep understanding of each retail partner’s distribution model, operational requirements, key metrics, and inventory planning needs - Strong analytical skills to produce qualitative/quantitative data (using Excel, PowerPoint, NetSuite, Tableau) that can be shared to drive business - Broad understanding of policies, processes and systems relating to retail distributor operations - Overseeing and ensuring smooth order processing and timely delivery to all customers with focus on Innovation planning and customer expansion - Provide weekly sell in data vs. forecast and any risks associated to the month/quarter plan to Finance, Sales and Operations stakeholders - Track & monitor weekly sell out data coupled with retailer in stock levels in partnership with Demand planning and Sales account leads - As needed, partner with retailer Supply Chain & planning teams to drive additional orders or forecast adjustments guaranteeing appropriate inventory coverage - Track and report on key customer supply chain KPIs, including fulfillment, in-stocks, service levels, on-time delivery, and potential chargeback risk - Internal and external collaboration for alignment and identifying opportunities - Participate and contribute to customer demand forecasting, maximizing forecast accuracy - Participate and influence assortment decisions aimed at optimizing sales and productivity by utilizing analytics, market research, consumer research, and customer intelligence - Ability to connect internal functions to drive supply chain improvements (fill rate, on-time, in-stocks, reduce potential chargebacks, customer program execution) for the customer - Help educate and align internal teams on customer expectations, retailer requirements, and best practices for execution What You'll Bring - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or another analytical field preferred or equivalent experience - 5+ years of experience in customer supply chain, retail operations, customer logistics, demand planning, supply planning, or related operational roles - Experience within beauty, consumer goods, or retail industry - Strong communication skills both verbal and written - Excellent Excel Skills and knowledge - Proven ability to build strong relationships with retail partners, internal cross-functional teams and deliver results - Ability to make thoughtful decisions when data is limited, ambiguous, or evolving - Willingness to travel across the region as required Other Details for Consideration - Location of Position: Los Angeles, California - Must be a commutable distance to office in Los Angeles - Hybrid Model Expectation: Must be able to work 3+ days a week in the office - Budgeted Hourly Rate: $90-$110K $90,000 - $110,000 a year The base salary range for this role is listed above. Total compensation includes base salary, annual company-based performance bonus, and equity. Under e.l.f.’s annual bonus program, employees are eligible to earn up to 200% of their target bonus when company performance exceeds defined goals.
