Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Solar Designer to bridge the gap between technical design and administrative coordination. This is a dual-function role: - Responsible for creating high-performing solar layouts. - Managing critical "behind-the-scenes" administrative tasks to ensure a project moves from a quote to a successful installation. Key Responsibilities - Generate professional solar layouts and designs using Pylon. - Prepare accurate, comprehensive quotes for the sales team, ensuring all components and labor costs are correctly accounted for. - Follow up on pending approvals to ensure project timelines remain on track. - Act as the primary administrative bridge between the office and the install teams. - Draft and send installation briefing emails, ensuring installers have all necessary site maps, equipment lists, and safety notes. - Coordinate schedule confirmations with customers and internal stakeholders. - Maintain and update the CRM with lead and project statuses. - Manage routine email correspondence with transparency and professionalism. - Work independently to solve routine bottlenecks in the pre-installation phase. Qualifications - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Solar Designer or related role. - Hands-on experience with Pylon and ServiceM8. - Familiarity with CRM tools and Google Workspace/Microsoft 365. - Solid understanding of solar standards and regulations. - A "self-starter" mindset; comfortable working independently on routine tasks without needing constant supervision. - Exceptional written English skills, specifically for professional email coordination. - High attention to detail. • Receive & respond to escalated service requests, incidents and change requests in a timely manner • Maintain accountability to lower tier technical team members to assist with escalations that stretch beyond the tier 1 and/or tier 2 scope of support • Train and educate VC3 clients on technical standards • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with: • Customer line-of-business (LOB) applications and common applications like web browsers and Microsoft Office • General network connectivity including ISP • Common networking technologies such as DHCP and DNS • Wireless network performance and accessibility • Firewalls, switches, and routers • Remote access technologies including VPN, RDS, and Citrix • Operating systems on servers, desktops, and laptops • Complete technical administrative tasks such as: • Virus/malware removal • Add/remove/change virtual server resources • AD/365/application password resets • Identify recurring issues and initiate problem tickets for them • Make recommendations for improvements of supported hardware and software • Engage vendors, 3rd parties, and client subject matter experts (SME) as needed during the troubleshooting process • Additional duties as required

• Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute technical sales strategies for assigned customers. • Deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs). • Design and architect end-to-end networking solutions across campus, data center, and WAN environments. • Provide presales technical leadership throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, solution validation, and RFP responses. • Act as a subject matter expert across routing, switching, wireless, security, and automation technologies.
