Experience: 2+ years of relatable professional experience in engineering, consulting, or project management preferred. Hours: M-F, 40 hours per week. Regular OT expected Length of Assignment: 12 month contract + potential extension or conversion Position Specific Description Under limited guidance, the position interacts with a team of maintenance specialists, technicians, engineers, and contractors involved in wind turbine overhauls and maintenance. Position is involved with internal and external resources to execute maintenance work with direct accountability for safety, environment, quality, schedule, and cost. Position is expected to apply rigor, discipline, and focus in following standardized processes and procedures, while continuously applying a lean and quality improvement mindset to improve the process. Position should possess technical knowledge of wind turbine equipment and be skilled in understanding and resolving technical issues, including for unplanned scope. Position works closely with other Specialist, Supervisors and Contract Coordinators to develop and implement complex plans for execution of work scope. This position requires extensive travel nationwide across the wind fleet to support plant outages (90% travel). Job Overview Employees in this job direct a team of maintenance specialists, technicians, engineers, and contractors involved in major maintenance activities or plant maintenance. Individuals in this position lead internal and external resources to Deliver Certainty for assigned major maintenance activities or plant maintenance to achieve objectives for: safety, environmental, quality, schedule, and cost compliance.
