• Identify, prospect, and develop new customer accounts across a variety of industries • Sell prototype and production manufacturing solutions, including machining, injection molding, and additive manufacturing (3D printing) • Build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted partner in meeting their production needs • Understand customer design, quality, and delivery requirements and align them with Qualdoc MFG capabilities • Conduct in-person and virtual sales meetings, plant tours, and technical discussions • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and capability overviews • Leverage Qualdoc’s differentiators—including certifications, metrology lab capabilities, and supplier quality engineering support—to win and retain business • Manage a healthy new-business pipeline from initial contact through production award • Collaborate with internal engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure successful customer onboarding • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and forecast reporting

• Manage multiple steel construction projects through all phases, including preconstruction, fabrication, installation, and closeout. • Develop and maintain project schedules to support engineering, submittals, procurement, production, shipping, field installation, and final turnover activities. • Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications to verify project scope, material requirements, and execution plans. • Monitor project progress and proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and project outcomes. • Coordinate detailing, surveying, and project engineering activities. • Review shop drawings and technical documentation for completeness and accuracy. • Collaborate with design teams and field personnel to resolve project challenges and maintain schedule commitments. • Participate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination efforts, including clash detection and trade coordination. • Prepare and process project documentation including submittals, purchase orders, subcontract agreements, professional service agreements, and contract modifications. • Develop schedules of values and oversee monthly billing submissions. • Prepare, negotiate, and track change orders, project revisions, credits, and pricing proposals. • Monitor project costs and support profitability objectives throughout project execution. • Build and maintain productive relationships with owners, contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders. • Coordinate material deliveries, installation sequencing, and site logistics with trade partners. • Facilitate communication among all project participants to minimize delays and maintain project momentum. • Address project issues promptly and implement corrective actions when necessary. • Maintain complete and organized project records in both digital and physical formats. • Support quality control initiatives and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. • Issue performance or corrective action notices to subcontractors when required. • Promote adherence to company safety expectations and industry best practices.

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and daily financial records. • Manage JPM transactions, expense tracking, and departmental payroll allocations. • Handle Accounts Receivable (AR): issue invoices, monitor aging reports, record payments, and follow up on overdue accounts. • Handle Accounts Payable (AP): review vendor bills, verify purchase orders, reconcile accounts, and manage cash flow. • Process payroll weekly via Gusto, including commissions, bonuses, and employee changes. • Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and Sales Orders (SOs), ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Prepare professional proposals/quotations and track client approvals. • Conduct forecasting, financial analysis, and generate ad hoc reports. • Identify and mitigate financial and operational risk factors. • Forecast cash flows to support strategic planning and liquidity management. • Streamline systems and processes for efficiency and scalability. • Support insurance submissions, reconciliations, and other operational reporting.

Technical Project Manager (R&D Programs) Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (Permanent considered for the right candidate) Location: Richmond, VA (Remote possible, depending on candidate/role fit) Rate: $50–$65/hr Position Overview We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to manage research and development (R&D) projects from planning through execution. This role focuses on project execution, cross-team coordination, and milestone tracking. The ideal candidate has several years of experience managing technical projects and is looking to grow into higher-level program leadership. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. - Track deliverables and action items across mechanical, electrical, software, and validation teams. - Support design reviews, prototype builds, and testing efforts. - Facilitate day-to-day coordination, risk tracking, and reporting. - Provide regular project updates to internal stakeholders. - Ensure accurate documentation of requirements, risks, and lessons learned. - Focus on execution and coordination to keep projects moving forward. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - 3+ years of project management experience in a technical or R&D environment. - Familiarity with engineering tools (SolidWorks, CAD, Jira, Confluence, MS Project). - Understanding of product development lifecycles (concept, prototype, test). - Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
