Role Description The Designer I is fully remote. The candidate will work on gas and power design projects and be responsible for project design, field survey, QA/QC, and client relations. Will work within a team of engineers, designers, and/or technical specialists and apply expertise to solve unique engineering problems. - Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers to deliver the most cost-effective and highest quality infrastructure solutions. - Work with Project Manager for reviews of engineering design packages including drawings, BOM, and procedures. - Perform basic to intermediate engineering calculations and designs. - Perform site surveys documenting existing conditions via GPS and conventional survey methods. - Contribute to and implement design modifications to improve quality of projects and process improvements. - Communicate effectively internally and with external stakeholders. - Travel to various work sites and office locations with occasional overnight stay. - Interface with client’s contractors, answer questions, explain requirements, and facilitate workflow. - Work in a team-oriented environment. - Exhibit excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills as well as the ability to adapt to change. Qualifications - Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and MS Office. - Good written and oral communication skills. - Ability and willingness to learn new technology and come up to speed quickly. - Ability to communicate and pass knowledge to team members. - High attention to detail. - Excellent organization skills. - Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests. - Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of 5 years clean driving record. Role Description The CAD Detailer will produce accurate detailed CAD drawings and shop drawings for fabrication and installation. This role requires close coordination with engineering, project management, and field teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements, codes, and fabrication tolerances. The CAD Detailer will maintain drawing standards, manage revisions, and support production of material lists and fabrication data.
