Job Description

Accountant – Part-time Contract

Spectrum One

• Support People Operations in timekeeping and payroll processing, and government contributions, ensuring compliance with BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and PAGIBIG. • Assist contractors with their BIR filings, government contributions, and compiling of official receipts, prepare and submit government compliance and expense reports to leadership. • Keep track of compliance deadlines, maintain organized filings and documents for future audits. • Create BIR 2307 for suppliers before the specified deadline and ensure timely VAT and income tax filings every quarter. • Process the Tax Annualization requirements annually, including filing of Employee Alphalist, or preparing and filing the BIR 2316 for all employees. • Create BIR 2316 for resigning employees, as needed. • Facilitate the annual renewal of the Mayor's permit and process SEC requirements, including GIS and ITR submission. • Handle 13th-month pay and leave encashment processing.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Located in Metro Manila, the ability to file documents in person in BIR, PhilHealth, SSS, PAGIBIG.
  • Experience in BIR audits is preferable.
  • Professional certification, such as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent, is preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounting or financial management roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, payroll and statutory benefits requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Integrity and ethical conduct in handling financial information.
