• Maintain and manage client books in QuickBooks Online • Review QuickBooks files for accurate coding, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and transaction completeness • Perform accounting clean-ups and catch-up work for clients with incomplete records • Classify transactions and complete monthly reconciliations for bank, credit card, and liability accounts • Tie out payroll liabilities and payroll-related expenses • Prepare monthly financial statement packages including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reports • Deliver financial reports to clients and explain key results • Conduct regular client check-in meetings to review financial performance and answer questions • Complete year-end workpapers and prepare adjusting journal entries • Review work prepared by accountants and bookkeepers to ensure accuracy and consistency • Provide feedback and guidance to team members • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding documentation and financial matters • Maintain timely responses to client communications • Manage tasks, deadlines, and workflows using firm systems and tools

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of U.S. accounting and bookkeeping experience
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  • Strong understanding of account reconciliations and financial reporting
  • Experience reviewing accounting work and maintaining quality standards
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Teams
