Reachstack

At ReachStack, we work in a collaborative, remote-first environment where your contributions have a direct impact on the work we deliver for our clients. We are a small, close-knit team that values quality, initiative, and ownership. You will gain hands-on experience in a specialized and in-demand area of digital marketing — building email programs for clients in a sector where precision and reliability matter. If you take pride in clean, functional code, thrive without close supervision, and enjoy being part of a team that gets things done, you will fit right in here.

Role Description We are looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join our team on a one-year contract basis, with strong potential to transition into a permanent full-time role based on performance and business growth. This is a fully remote position open to candidates anywhere in Canada, with an immediate start date negotiable based on the right candidate's availability. This is a dual-function role that combines hands-on HTML email development with direct client relationship management. You will be the technical resource and the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of client accounts — building and maintaining their email campaigns while managing the day-to-day relationship and ensuring they get maximum value from the ReachStack platform. If you have worked in an email marketing or digital agency environment where you have managed client accounts and done the technical production work, this role is a natural fit. You will be joining a small, experienced team and are expected to work independently with a structured onboarding and training period to get you fully up to speed. Responsibilities - Client Success - Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of client accounts, building strong relationships and maintaining high levels of satisfaction. - Develop a thorough understanding of the ReachStack platform and each client's unique communication goals and strategy. - Conduct regular check-ins to review campaign performance, address questions, and identify opportunities to improve client results. - Proactively identify and resolve client concerns before they escalate, maintaining a high standard of responsiveness and follow-through. - Support clients in making effective use of platform features through guidance and best practice recommendations. - Collaborate with internal teams to relay client feedback and contribute to ongoing service improvements. - Maintain accurate records of client interactions and account health using internal tools. - Email Development - Convert client creative designs into responsive HTML emails built for accuracy across platforms and email clients. - Build and maintain landing pages and web forms. - Create supporting digital assets including banners and social media materials. - Test all email builds rigorously across platforms and clients using Email on Acid. - Manage and implement changes for split testing in an agile development cycle. - Edit content, debug code, and refine existing email templates as needed. - Provide technical guidance and email best practice recommendations to support client expectations. Qualifications - Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3. - Solid experience with responsive design and HTML email production. - Experience using Email on Acid or similar email testing platforms. - Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for asset preparation and editing. - Experience working with WordPress. - Strong understanding of cross-browser and cross-client email compatibility. - Familiarity with web and email security principles. - Proven experience in a customer success, account management, or client services role within the software or technology industry. - Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of accounts independently with minimal day-to-day supervision. - Proven reliability working in a remote environment, with strong self-management and communication habits. - Comfortable working with Google Workspace, Microsoft O365, and project management tools such as JIRA. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust across a range of client relationships. Nice to Have - JavaScript. - Adobe Illustrator. - Experience with APIs and SEO. - Knowledge of modern design styles and technologies. - Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar ESPs. - Familiarity with Salesforce CRM. - Background in fintech, financial services, or wealth management. - Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Web Development, or a related field. Experience - The right balance of both skill sets matters more than years on a resume. Candidates with 3 or more years in a combined client-facing and email production role — such as an email marketing or digital agency background — are preferred. - Strong candidates with proven skills in both areas and less experience will be considered. The Role at a Glance - One-year contract, full-time (40 hours per week). - Fully remote — open to candidates anywhere in Canada. - Immediate start, with flexibility based on candidate availability. - Strong potential to transition to a permanent full-time role based on performance and company growth. - No formal health benefits for the duration of the contract. Working at ReachStack At ReachStack, we work in a collaborative, remote-first environment where your contributions have a direct impact on both the technical quality and the client relationships we deliver. We are a small, close-knit team that values initiative, accountability, and ownership across everything we do. This role offers genuine breadth — you will build real expertise across email production and client success in a specialized area of digital marketing where precision and reliability matter. If you take pride in your work, thrive without close supervision, and enjoy being the person clients can count on, you will fit right in here.
