Polymer Sourcing Specialist

Role Description - Sourcing Polymer (PE, PP, PVC) by developing a business plan that covers procurement, revenue, and expense controls. - Developing new suppliers, maximizing sourcing volume and enhancing business relationships. - Maintaining and reporting sourcing and procurement information in a timely and accurate manner. - Understanding suppliers' end markets and procurement strategies. - Continuous communication with internal counterparts in other countries to ensure timely and accurate solutions to increase efficiency. - Increasing the presence of the company in the polymer business by attending appropriate industry conferences and company meetings. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited school (preferred) - 5 years of domestic sourcing + exporting experience in the polymer industry (must) - Proven experience in exporting US locally sourced products to Europe, Latin America, and Asia, etc. - Sourcing experience at chemical distribution companies (preferred) Requirements - Ability to travel domestically and internationally for business trips. - Ability to create new opportunities and convert sourcing strategies into tangible results. - Resourcefulness and persistence in prospecting potential clients and suppliers. - Excellent communication skills.
