Nurse Practitioner Manager
Prenuvo
• Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation for all NPs within their assigned pod, fostering connection, communication, and accountability in a remote setting. • Provide first-line guidance and peer support for clinical, operational, and workflow questions. • Reinforce existing SOPs, training materials, and policies, ensuring consistent clinical practice and smooth coordination between remote NPs and in-clinic teams. • Participate in leadership meetings, representing the pod, and ensuring the workflow changes and important communications are effectively communicated to your team. • Partner with the Chief Nurse Executive and cross-functional key stakeholders to identify training gaps, performance trends, and opportunities for quality improvement. • Continue practicing as a Prenuvo NP and being a part of the on-call pools by performing patient consults, reviewing scan appropriateness, addressing patient inquiries or escalations, and contributing to consult quality consistency. • Model best practices in patient-centered communication, documentation, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. • Collaborate cross-functionally to co-design and refine SOPs, consult workflows, and communication standards that support scalability and efficiency. • Seeks feedback and alignment with the Chief Nursing Executive and broader leadership team before communicating or implementing process or workflow changes to the pod or other functions, ensuring consistency and clarity in operational direction across the organization. • Assist in the rollout of new clinical processes, technology tools, or workflow updates, ensuring clear adoption within the pod. • Partner with administrative coordinators to review pod schedules, approve changes, and manage escalations such as sick calls, coverage gaps, and requested time off. • Ensure schedules align with organizational needs and clinician well-being. • Provide input on staffing levels, coverage distribution, and capacity planning as Prenuvo expands. • Maintain open, collaborative relationships with onsite clinic teams to ensure seamless communication between the telehealth and in-person care settings. • Support issue resolution, workflow coordination, and patient journey optimization across locations within the pod’s coverage area. • Escalate recurring operational or communication barriers to leadership with recommended solutions. • Demonstrates professionalism and reliability in a fully remote work environment. • Attends required leadership, pod, and cross-functional meetings via video platform, contributing actively and representing their pod effectively. • Maintains responsiveness on Slack and email during working hours, setting a consistent tone of accessibility and collaboration for the team. • Creates an engaged, inclusive, and respectful virtual environment, leading by example in communication, follow-through, and presence.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing; active Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing (multistate or compact preferred).
- Active NP licensure in a minimum of 3 states, including California
- Minimum 3 years of NP clinical experience, ideally in diagnostic, radiology, or preventive care environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring clinicians, especially in remote or distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of telemedicine operations, workflow design, and clinical quality standards.
- Exceptional communicator with strong virtual collaboration skills (Slack, Google Meet, EHRs).
- Operationally minded with comfort navigating ambiguity in a growth-stage environment.
- Balanced leadership approach, peer-first mentor who can step into a guiding or accountability role when needed.
- Organized, proactive, and dependable under shifting priorities.
