Job Description

Print Manager

CommonLit

• Oversee the print product line in conjunction with the Chief Product Officer • Lead the end-to-end execution of our print initiatives • Advise on the strategy and vision for the print product line • Own development and management of production schedules • Track milestones and mitigate risks to ensure delivery on time and within budget • Oversee file preparation, proof review cycles, logistics, and final delivery • Ensure all materials meet quality, brand, and instructional standards • Serve as primary point of contact for customers regarding print products • Provide clear and consistent communication regarding timelines, specifications, and delivery expectations • Oversee shipping schedules and logistics for on-time delivery • Identify and resolve any production or distribution issues while communicating resolution plans

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 3 - 5+ years of experience in print production or a similar role highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of print workflows and specifications
  • Experience successfully managing customer communications and delivery timelines
  • Familiarity with shipping/logistics coordination
  • Proficiency in project management tools
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent time-management skills
