Director – Global Clinical Program Management
Dexcom
• Provide strategic direction for Dexcom’s global clinical programs, ensuring alignment with regional regulatory expectations • Partner with regional clinical, regulatory, and market teams to ensure study designs meet global submission and commercialization needs. • Serve as a key member of cross functional leadership teams, ensuring clinical strategy is harmonized across international markets. • Lead the full lifecycle of Dexcom’s international clinical trials, including feasibility, regulatory approvals, site contracting, activation, and execution across geographically diverse regions. • Ensure global enrollment strategies account for cultural, regulatory, and site infrastructure differences. • Drive delivery of high quality evidence by managing global timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation plans. • Build and oversee a multinational Clinical Program Management team, equipped to support trial execution across multiple time zones and diverse healthcare systems. • Mentor and develop global talent; promote cultural awareness and regionally sensitive leadership behaviors. • Establish scalable processes that support clinical program operations in the U.S., EU, APAC, LATAM, and other regions. • Lead the selection and oversight of global CROs, AROs, and international vendors, ensuring regional expertise and operational excellence. • Negotiate global scope, budget, KPIs, and performance expectations across multinational partners. • Monitor CRO performance and ensure adherence to international regulatory and quality standards. • Maintain strong understanding of worldwide clinical regulations, guidelines, and emerging international standards. • Drive global program metrics, dashboards, and cross regional reporting structures. • Build and maintain strong relationships with international investigators, KOLs, and advisory groups. • Ensure global clinical insights shape Dexcom’s protocol design, evidence strategy, and product development roadmap.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of industry experience
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of successful management experience in relevant industry
- Experience leading global clinical studies, including multi country, multi regional trials
- Global clinical project/program management with direct experience navigating international regulatory bodies and ethics committees
- Demonstrated success building and managing global teams in diverse geographic settings
- Strong understanding of global GCP standards and international medical device regulations
- Proven ability to manage global CROs and vendors supporting Class II/III medical device trials
- Experience in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) or diabetes related medical device trials a plus
- Prior leadership of IDE, PMA, and 510(k) submissions, as well as CE Mark / MDR requirements a plus
- Experience expanding clinical operations into new global markets a plus.

• Coordinates daily operations within department, with functions related to healthcare ethics, palliative care and advance care planning (ACP). • Provides recommendations on the clinical pathways to improve reliable and effective ACP for Well, Rising Risk, and Seriously Ill patient populations. • Monitors and measures progress toward the achievement of departmental, programmatic, and system goals. • Establishes strong, consistent relationships with community organizations and key internal and external stakeholders; to provide leadership to pilot/implementation project site leaders and better acquaint the system with the programs offered through the department. • Implements system level Advance Care planning processes as they relate to the goals of Care Transformation, Population Health, and Serious Illness programs. • Using clinical expertise, optimizes effectiveness of patient education and engagement strategies to promote patient understanding and positive experience with early, proactive consideration of care preferences and care planning. • Participates in operational and clinical improvement initiatives that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of ACP processes across the care continuum. • Provides education to care teams in order to improve patient, clinician and provider experience of advance care planning and serious illness care. • Collaborates with other TOC groups to embed ACP throughout system initiatives. • Functions with high level of accountability, steadfast quality focus, teamwork, coordination, continual improvement, and care innovation.
