Director, ERP Systems – Manufacturing
Semiconductor Insight
• Own and define the ERP strategy and roadmap for manufacturing systems. • Provide leadership and direction for all ERP platforms • Drive standardization, best practices, and long-term scalability across ERP systems. • Serve as the primary business partner for manufacturing and operations leadership. • Ensure ERP systems effectively support manufacturing, planning, inventory, quality, supply chain, and finance. • Partner with plant leadership to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy. • Support plant startups, plant moves, consolidations, and closures from a systems perspective. • Ensure system stability, performance, and compliance across all manufacturing locations. • Lead ERP upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives. • Drive ERP consolidation efforts, including reducing system complexity and technical debt. • Evaluate and implement enhancements, integrations, and third-party solutions. • Manage ERP vendor relationships and contracts. • Lead ERP due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. • Define and execute ERP integration strategies for acquired companies. • Establish ERP governance, controls, and KPIs. • Oversee ERP project delivery, timelines, budgets, and resources.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of ERP experience, with significant focus on manufacturing environments.
- 5+ years in a leadership or director-level role managing ERP systems or programs.
- Hands-on or leadership experience with one or more ERP: Infor SyteLine, QAD, WorkWise, etc.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (MFG, MRP, BOMs, routings, inventory, costing).
- Proven experience leading ERP implementations, upgrades, and consolidations.
- Experience supporting plant moves and multi-site manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrated experience supporting M&A ERP integrations.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in IT or related area or equivalent experience in ERP Development, Management, or IT Business Systems.
- Essential/Preferred Skills: MBA or advanced degree in related area
- PMP certification and/or Agile certification
- Lean Process Improvement training and/or certification
