• Assess requested Unity software compatibility with customers' intended use and their laboratory IT infrastructure. • Communicate technical requirements and solutions effectively with both IT and lab personnel. • Demonstrate in-depth expertise in Unity Software Products, including knowledge of version differences and specific requirements. • Provide technical guidance on operating system requirements, permissions and access needs, network and integration requirements, SQL requirements, connectivity solutions, and data file review and analysis. • Facilitate Unity project onboarding across multiple departments and sites within customer organizations. • Apply IT expertise related to Unity software, including operating systems, SQL, network hardware, virtual environments, and communication protocols (TCP/IP, RS232), as well as data formats (HL7, ASTM). • Install Unity software products, leveraging specialized knowledge of transformers, channels, and integration with hardware, LIS, and middleware systems. • Streamline lab workflows and optimize performance by connecting a variety of instruments and platforms to Unity software. • Configure and map software features, working closely with lab personnel to address varying data needs. • Adhere to standard work while investigating and documenting technical issues and partnering with customers on the implementation and functionality of Unity Software Solutions. • Verify successful data transmission and integration into Unity.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related technical field, OR an Associate’s degree in a related field.
- 2+ years’ preferred experience work experience in a Customer Support (computer, customer service or technical services) environment.
- Organization and project time management skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical knowledge to troubleshoot product issues.

Role Description We are looking for a Senior Unreal Engineer to join a small, high-impact team building an Unreal Engine 5 prototype for an open-world MMO from the creators of an incredibly successful game. The prototype will showcase key gameplay elements and high-fidelity graphics. It is not intended for end users; instead, it will be used to record video footage and to drive internal alignment across design, art, and engineering. This is a remote, full-time contract, expected to start immediately and last for around three months, with potential to extend. The team is small, so your work will be visible and your decisions will have real weight. You will: - Implement gameplay features and systems, focusing on rapid development and frequent iteration. - Ensure the prototype is always stable for daily reviews, while remaining flexible about what is done next. What to expect from the process: - Profile Preselection: Our Talent Acquisition team will review your profile. - Talent Acquisition Screening: Selected candidates will be contacted to undergo an initial interview to discuss their experience, skills, and fit for the role. - Test: Qualified candidates will be invited to complete an assessment to demonstrate their abilities. - Interviews: Finalists will participate in technical and cultural interviews to assess their proficiency and compatibility with our team. Qualifications - 7+ years of professional game development experience, with meaningful Unreal Engine history. - Strong command of Blueprints and C++, able to choose the right tool for the context, and migrate between them. - Deep understanding of UE5 core systems: character movement, input, collision, game instance/mode architecture, asset management. - Experience with world partition and level loading techniques. - Working knowledge of individual UE5 components: rendering, AI, navigation, physics, UI. - Solid debugging and profiling skills. - Ability to work quickly and autonomously in a prototype-driven workflow. - Confidence in communicating trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders. - Good written and spoken English for daily communication and collaboration. - A pragmatic mindset: you know when something is good enough for a prototype and when it needs to be done properly.
