• Overseeing and coordinating various projects and programs within the software engineering department • Ensure alignment of software projects with the organization's strategic objectives • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan • Lead and oversee the execution of project tasks as defined in the project plan • Maintain effective communication and working relationships with stakeholders and third parties/vendors • Provide regular and timely updates to stakeholders about progress, adjustments, and advancements • Determine and define project scope and objectives • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources effectively • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans • Ensure that all projects adhere to quality standards and that deliverables meet project requirements • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement and report on project progress and changes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field
  • A Master's degree or an MBA would be a plus
  • Certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional) are preferred
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on software development projects
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.), project management tools (like JIRA, Trello), and program management principles
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively, strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
