Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Mail Operations Pharmacist 2 (VSP/PT) registered Pharmacist who is responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medication to patients. The Mail Operations Pharmacist 2 (VSP/PT) work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. The Mail Operations Pharmacist 2 (VSP/PT) ensures adherence to quality assurance standards, accurate tracking techniques and a review process prior to shipping medications to patients. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures. Job Requirements
- Bachelors of Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Licensed as a PHARMACIST in state(s) of practice
- Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
