Role Description This is a full-time, telework position that will support the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) using the Electronic Grants Management System (eGMS) to process applications, undertake peer review, manage awards, track performance, and complete closeout actions. Qualifications - Demonstrate museum administration expertise - MLS or library program experience - Native support requires tribal eligibility, expertise and familiarity with tribal governance requirements Requirements - Be detail-oriented and able to work independently following initial orientation to the work - Experience in being trained and working remotely - Ability to adhere to deadlines, plan, and process work accurately - Knowledge of grant making in governance organizations - Ability to understand agency policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations - At contract award, at least 6 months of experience using Electronics Grants Management System (eGMS) - Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English and experience in communicating in writing and verbally - Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 360 including OneDrive, Excel, and Teams - Highly proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro and have experience in complex proprietary relational databases - Excellent data entry skills Education Requirements - A bachelor's degree in museum studies, library studies and/or in a discipline related to the arts, the humanities, or the sciences - Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English - Experience in communicating in writing and verbally about data-oriented issues
