The Mission We are seeking a Principal Transformation Architect to join our Named Customer Portfolio. This role embeds you directly with our most important enterprise and strategic customers —working side-by-side with their executives, architects, and operators to deliver tangible business outcomes powered by AWS. This is not a traditional consultant role. As a Principal Transformation Architect, you’ll bridge sales and delivery , acting as a trusted strategic advisor and owning the technical strategy for your aligned customers. You’ll have a direct line of sight to the customer’s biggest business challenges and will lead the design and delivery of cloud-native solutions that create measurable impacts. As a Principal Transformation Architect, you’ll be at the intersection of strategy, architecture, and execution , helping our customers unlock the full value of AWS. You’ll have the autonomy to own big problems end-to-end, the backing of a leading AWS Premier Partner, and the opportunity to shape how cloud transformation is delivered at scale. Your Assignment Serve as a Trusted Advisor: Partner with C-suite and senior technical stakeholders to align AWS-based solutions to their business goals and transformation initiatives. Own the Technical Strategy: Lead discovery, architecture, and design sessions to propose well-architected, cloud-native solutions tailored to customer needs. Bridge Sales & Delivery: Drive technical solutioning through proposal and SOW development, ensuring clarity of requirements and constraints for successful execution. Your Qualifications Experience: 10+ years of architecting, building, and operating solutions on AWS. 10+ years in infrastructure, applications, databases, and/or networking architecture. 10+ years in consulting or equivalent roles driving complex technical solutions for enterprise customers. Skills & Capabilities: Proven ability to align technical solutions with business strategy and communicate the “why” as clearly as the “how.” Quick learner who can rapidly understand a client’s domain, workflows, data, organizational dynamics, and constraints. Strong consulting mindset: able to diagnose, scope, and structure solutions to ambiguous problems. Exceptional communicator - able to shift seamlessly between technical deep dives with SMEs and strategic conversations with executives. Expert workshop facilitator and presenter with excellent storytelling skills. Deep understanding of cloud-native patterns and AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices. Ability to manage time across multiple clients and priorities. Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect – Professional (required), AWS DevOps Professional and one or more AWS Specialty certifications (preferred). Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 25%; utilization target of 25–50%. Preferred Qualifications Deep domain expertise in Application Development, Data, AI, and/or DevOps Industry vertical expertise (e.g. FinTech, HealthCare, Oil & Gas) Experience designing highly-available, fault-tolerant architectures Familiarity with compliance frameworks and requirements (e.g. SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR) NOTE: We’re unable to provide visa sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
