Manager, Compliance – Data Privacy

• Triage and conduct privacy impact assessments and other privacy-related risk assessments and develop and implement corrective action plans • Collaborate cross functionally with key stakeholders to ensure timely processing of all privacy related risk assessments. • Brief regional Data Protection Officers on higher risk privacy matters that could impact data subjects in their regions • Conduct legal research on specific privacy-related topics, as needed • Assist with data incident response investigations and reporting under legal privilege, and Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR), ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements • Oversee and maintain the Privacy and Cyber SharePoint site, risk metrics, and control tower to ensure proper documentation and tracking • Support audits, regulatory inquiries, and internal reviews
Job Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years’ experience in privacy or an Advanced Degree in a related field (i.e., Juris Doctorate or master’s degree in legal studies preferred) and minimum 5 years' experience
- Experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments as well as other privacy-related risk assessments, including Data Protection Impact and Transfer Impact Assessments
- Experience with data incident response and DSAR response
- Experience with domestic and international data privacy law and regulations, including CCPA and GDPR
