Role: AI Solutions Architect Location: Dearborn United States Job Description: Job#: 3028570 Job Description: Duration: Long-Term Contract Location: Hyrbid - 4 days/week onsite in SE MI - *Will consider fully remote for the right experience Job Description: As an AI Solutions Architect within our Enterprise Analytics portfolio, this role carries a unique dual mandate: enabling advanced analytics teams while also helping reinvent the architecture discipline. First, you will serve as the primary technical partner for Data Science and Data Engineering teams-designing robust AI solution architectures, developing Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and reference implementations, and actively removing technical roadblocks to accelerate delivery to the business. Second, you will help pioneer the evolution of the architecture discipline by championing an "Agent-First" approach. By applying cutting-edge LLMs and agentic frameworks to automate traditional architectural analyses, technical designs, and integrations, you will help establish a scalable, governed foundation of AI tools that empowers both analytics teams and the broader Ford organization. Required Skills: - Software Engineering & Solution Architecture: Expert proficiency in Python and CI/CD pipeline design, with proven ability to design scalable end-to-end AI architectures, develop rapid PoCs, and build production-ready reference implementations. - LLM/Agent Development: Hands-on experience building autonomous agents and AI applications using modern frameworks, with strong understanding of RAG architectures, vector databases, and prompt engineering. - Strategic Innovation: Strong ability to challenge the status quo and translate traditional architectural workflows into automated, agent-driven solutions through agile iteration. Desired Skills: - Enterprise Architecture: Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and governance, ensuring alignment with corporate IT strategy. - Technical Enablement: Experience partnering with Data Science and Data Engineering teams to identify and remove technical and infrastructure blockers. - Data Integration & API Enablement: Ability to design, build, and consume RESTful APIs to enable secure interaction between AI agents, data pipelines, and legacy systems. - Cloud Architecture & Governance: Experience deploying scalable solutions in cloud environments (GCP preferred), with understanding of security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
