Job Description
Operations Manager
Playlink
Role Description As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for defining and implementing best-in-class operational processes across Playlink’s verticals. You will play a critical role in building a highly efficient operational backbone that enables the business to scale across products and markets. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will drive the day-to-day operational rhythm of the company and act as the connective tissue between teams, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. Responsibilities - Core Operations: Own and optimise day-to-day Casino, Sportsbook and Customer Support operations, continuously improving operational processes across the business - identifying bottlenecks, eliminating inefficiencies, and building scalable playbooks as the company grows. - Data & Reporting: Establish and maintain the operational Data & Reporting infrastructure, working cross-functionally with Casino, Sportsbook, Customer Support and commercial teams to ensure accurate, timely reporting on KPIs, player activity, and financial performance. - Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the central bridge between Engineering, Product, Design, Customer Support, Marketing, and Commercial teams to drive strategic initiatives and ensure operational alignment. - External Management: Build external documentation and decks for partners, payment providers, and prospective platform integrations. Maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape to benchmark and inform strategic priorities. - Scaling: Support internal analysis alongside the growth and commercial teams on market expansion opportunities, product maturity, and new vertical launches. - Operational Rollouts: Assist with company-wide workstreams deemed important for operational scale, including compliance support, vendor management, and tooling rollouts. - Leadership Management: Support core leadership with day-to-day execution to ensure they can scale with the business. Qualifications - iGaming Experience: A strong understanding of iGaming operations, casino and/or sportsbook - including provider ecosystems, promotional mechanics, and player lifecycle management. - Operational Scaling: Proven experience building, optimising, and managing operational processes that drive scale and business efficiency in a fast-paced regulated environment - ideally within iGaming, crypto, or fintech. - Data Literacy: Competent in interpreting dashboards, defining reporting requirements, and working with analytics tools and teams to extract actionable insights. - Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex messages concisely to a variety of audiences and formats (written, verbal), and to gain buy-in when needed. - Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the confidence and gravitas to engage and present at an executive level, and to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation. - Remote Environment: Demonstrated experience working effectively in a fully remote environment - able to operate autonomously, manage priorities without direct oversight, and maintain high output and clear communication across distributed teams and time zones. - Industry Experience: Experience in crypto/web3 is a strong plus but not essential; you must demonstrate a strong curiosity and appreciation for the space, a willingness to learn quickly, and high motivation to work within a cutting-edge, tech-forward ecosystem. What kind of person succeeds in this role? - You are a hunter, you believe that anything can be achieved through tenacity and persistence. - You are highly process and detail oriented, able to take both a 10,000 ft view and micro view at the same time, balancing quality and growth. - You have experience and thrive in a start-up environment. Taking on an ambiguous concept, problem or product. - You know how to build strong working relationships with internal & external stakeholders, building trust and confidence in your ability and processes of program delivery. - You thrive in an intense, high pressure environment, working across multiple brands, programs and often countries to successfully deliver. - Believes speed is a competitive advantage and strives to drive urgency across the org.
