Role Description Brandeis University’s Online Industrial Organizational Psychology Program is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member for RIOP 130 Program Evaluation and Impact Assessment for the Fall 2 1 2026 session. This 3-credit asynchronous online course is an 8-week requirement for the Master of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology. This course will consist of using methods for evaluating organizational programs and interventions: - Experimental and quasi‑experimental designs - Mixed methods - ROI and cost‑benefit analysis - Effective reporting to stakeholders Core Course Responsibilities Summary - Course Logistics and Facilitation: Focuses on the organized and timely rollout of course content, maintaining consistent communication through weekly announcements, and ensuring all instructional activities occur within university-approved digital platforms. - Instructor Presence and Engagement: Centers on building an active teaching persona by hosting live introductory sessions, facilitating weekly academic discourse in forums, and maintaining regular availability for student consultation. - Individual Feedback and Grading: Emphasizes the professional obligation to provide transparent, rubric-based evaluations and supportive commentary on student work within a standardized weekly timeframe. - Professional Conduct and Standards: Requires adherence to university communication protocols, the promotion of respectful online "netiquette," and ensuring the course meets accessibility and technical visibility standards before and during the term. Qualifications - Advanced degree (Master’s, Ph.D. or PsyD) in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Science/Behavior, Organizational Effectiveness, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Instructional Design, or a related field. - Professional experience within diverse industries or sectors, with a focus on organizational development/effectiveness, organizational or personnel research, HR/workplace analytics, HR business partnering/strategy development, HR program management, management consulting or related roles. - Strong knowledge of methods used to conduct research in organizational settings, design evaluations that estimate causal impact and quantify program effectiveness, compute and interpret correlations, effect sizes, ROI, and practical significance of results, and communicate evaluation findings to technical and executive audiences. - At least 1 year of teaching or training experience (preferably online/asynchronous). - Experience with online instruction. - Excellent communication and teaching skills in an online learning environment. Requirements - Prior online teaching experience at the graduate level (preferred). - Familiarity with online education platforms and course development tools (preferred). Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm The Opportunity: Art in Public Places (AIPP) program purchases and cares for artworks in state buildings, colleges, universities, and schools throughout Washington. The State Art Collection includes more than 5,000 artworks, located where people study, work, and live. The Collection includes a wide range of materials, sizes, and styles. In this role, we are looking for a visual arts professional with experience in studio art, art conservation, material science, museum studies, or a closely allied field. You will manage the conservation of several large-scale sculptures, working with art conservators and other specialized vendors to plan and execute repairs. Your work will support the completion of a suite of large-scale projects that received special funding from the State Legislature. You will also lead the conservation team in safety protocols and the care of 2-dimensional artwork.
