Pre-Sales Solutions Architect In this role, you will: - Work directly with customers in a pre-sales capacity to gather custom software-based integration and/or automation requirements leveraging Client's REST APIs and various third-party APIs - Partner with Client account teams and other pre-sales roles with Client to guide the requirements gathering process with the customer - Become an expert in Client's products and how to build cohesive integrations and automations that interact with Client's products - Design and document custom software-based integration and automation processes - Provide level of effort estimates (and calculated costs based on standard hourly rates) - Write services contracts (in partnership with other Client's pre-sales resources) including well-defined scope, effort, and costs based on gathered customer requirements and your recommended designs - Present solution designs and contract proposals to customers - Work with our team of post-sales solutions architects to validate designs and estimated efforts Required experiences and skills: - 3-5 years of coding, 2-3 years of sales efforts - Experience in SaaS applications, working knowledge of SDLC Process and Development and a strong foundation API and different coding languages. Experience working with various integrations across a wide variety of industry standard applications from CRMs, ERPs, etc. - Experience working in a pre-sales technical role, such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Architect. - Experience working with customers directly to gather technical requirements - Deep understanding of REST APIs and solution architecture using REST APIs - Understanding of API-based integration processes and designs - Ability to work with both technical and non-technical audiences to define and document desired integration or automation outcomes within Client's products - Comfortable working through ambiguity - Confident in designing and recommending best practices for integration and/or automation architectures - Ability to present solution proposals with confidence and talk in-depth about your design choices and pros/cons of alternative approaches - Backend software development experience preferred but not required The base salary for this position is $106,087 -$135,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
