This role focuses on producing accurate, professional construction drawings and technical documentation for high-end home theaters, media rooms, and specialty residential spaces. The ideal candidate has strong AutoCAD experience, understands residential construction, and enjoys collaborating with designers, project managers, and field teams to bring complex projects to life. This is not purely a drafting role. Role Description We seek a talented CAD Drafter to join our growing Mid Atlantic Sector. - Prepares site sketches, traffic control plans, permit planning, and DOT application for a portion or all of a utility construction project in a fast-paced environment. - Manages and gathers information, data, reports, and field notes from work management systems & software. - Utilizes basic knowledge of utility piping systems & networks. - Works with dynamic design teams including senior traffic engineers, utility engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and structural engineers. - Generates drawings from scratch with minimal direction and oversight, or revises drawings based on mark-ups from others under EIT or PE supervision. - Prepares project drawings, calculations, and specifications. - Familiar with all aspects of construction document preparation and capable of independently making design decisions and preparing the construction document package.
