Role Description We seek a talented CAD Drafter to join our growing Mid Atlantic Sector. - Prepares site sketches, traffic control plans, permit planning, and DOT application for a portion or all of a utility construction project in a fast-paced environment. - Manages and gathers information, data, reports, and field notes from work management systems & software. - Utilizes basic knowledge of utility piping systems & networks. - Works with dynamic design teams including senior traffic engineers, utility engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and structural engineers. - Generates drawings from scratch with minimal direction and oversight, or revises drawings based on mark-ups from others under EIT or PE supervision. - Prepares project drawings, calculations, and specifications. - Familiar with all aspects of construction document preparation and capable of independently making design decisions and preparing the construction document package.
