Role Description Be our next Plumbing & Fire Protection Designer / Engineer! Your work environment at EXP: - Part of the MEP Plumbing Team of the UX Sector - Based remotely in New York but supporting the Miami team - Opportunity to work on designing plumbing & fire protection systems for Aviation, Transit, and Commercial Building projects What a day at EXP has in store for you: - Converting engineer’s markups into working drawings - Understand, layout, and size the fundamental plumbing systems: storm, sanitary, vent, water, and gas - Perform load calculations - Route plumbing systems and size appropriately - Prepare schedules, details, and fixture and equipment specifications - Understand the scope of SD, DD, CD level documents and be able to prepare and deliver drawings at the appropriate level - Ability to manage and deliver revisions (ASI’s, etc.) and sketches according to proper numbering convention Qualifications - Ability to think in a 3D simulated environment - 4+ years’ minimum experience in plumbing & Fire Protection design - Strong REVIT MEP experience - Engineering or Drafting Degree (BS Architectural Engineering, BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Plumbing Engineer, AS Drafting and Design, or equivalent degree) is a plus - Great communication skills - EIT or PE is a plus Company Description With a mission to understand, innovate, partner and deliver, EXP provides engineering, architecture, design and consulting services to the world’s built and natural environments. • Research tender sites daily (Merx, Bids & Tenders, Ariba) to identify new opportunities • Monitor and manage the BD Opportunities and One@EXP inboxes, addressing inquiries, downloading documents, and providing timely support • Issue bulletins, track addenda, and maintain opportunity status on SharePoint • Develop, organize, track, and maintain resumes, project sheets, and boilerplate content • Format documents using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (Adobe InDesign skills are a strong asset) • Manage revisions through version control and maintain brand compliance • Provide updated resumes and project sheets to support active proposals • Review documents for accuracy, consistency, and branding compliance • Collaborate with regional marketing teams to obtain and exchange information • Work daily in SharePoint, Deltek Vantagepoint and Microsoft Suite • Own your file management, keeping things clean, current, and easy to find

Role Description We seek a talented CAD Drafter to join our growing Mid Atlantic Sector. - Prepares site sketches, traffic control plans, permit planning, and DOT application for a portion or all of a utility construction project in a fast-paced environment. - Manages and gathers information, data, reports, and field notes from work management systems & software. - Utilizes basic knowledge of utility piping systems & networks. - Works with dynamic design teams including senior traffic engineers, utility engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and structural engineers. - Generates drawings from scratch with minimal direction and oversight, or revises drawings based on mark-ups from others under EIT or PE supervision. - Prepares project drawings, calculations, and specifications. - Familiar with all aspects of construction document preparation and capable of independently making design decisions and preparing the construction document package. Qualifications - Minimum requirements include a College Diploma in Engineering Technology or Architecture and 1 year of practical drafting & engineering design experience. - Basic knowledge of Traffic Design, Traffic Control planning, and MUTCD. - Basic knowledge and understanding of work management systems and associated software. - Very strong AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation knowledge. - Ability to work on several projects concurrently. - Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient with the use of computers including spreadsheets, word processing, and engineering software. - Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively on a project team. - Ability to plan one's own time and manage the time of others, as needed. - Ability to problem solve, complete assigned tasks efficiently, and exercise sound engineering judgment. - Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines. Requirements - The pay range for this role is $20 to $35 an hour. - Actual compensation packages are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. - This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. Role Description Be our next Environmental Project Manager (Permitting). In this role, you will be a part of the Environmental team of the Energy Services Sector, based in Anchorage, Alaska, or Remotely. You will lead all aspects of project management (permitting), including client management and business development. What a day at EXP has in store for you: - Provide technical expertise for permitting, regulatory strategy development, environmental field surveys, and compliance for energy-related major project tasks and management of single projects, including oil and gas exploration, upstream oil and gas developments, pipeline projects, and infrastructure. - Manage and prepare permit applications for projects including those associated with: - Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) - U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) - U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) - National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) - State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) - State Pipeline Coordinators Section (SPCS) - Borough and Local agencies - Assist in the management of the procurement and execution of subcontractor firms assigned to provide subject matter expertise and specialty field studies (wetlands, cultural, biological). - Lead and support the preparation of environmental assessment documents for environmental services in accordance with National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) and Federal Agency guidelines as applicable. - Support and lead the preparation for supporting project consultations including Section 106 NHPA and Section 7 ESA consultation requirements. - Support the development of new project opportunities with existing clients and develop business opportunities through new relationship management. - Prepare detailed proposals and cost estimates for existing and new client contracts. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Biology, Natural Resources, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 8 years of experience managing permitting or NEPA for large infrastructure projects. - Advanced knowledge of environmental permitting practices and regulations. - Working knowledge of business development principles, project planning, and management. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook. Requirements - Ability to meet project deadlines. - Effective verbal and written communication skills, including advanced technical writing abilities. - Ability to maintain and establish effective working relationships. - Strong organizational skills to prioritize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously. - Attention to detail and accuracy in compiling, reviewing, and reconciling data. - Capability to prepare clear and concise reports, procedures, correspondences, and other written materials.
