Role Description We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead and execute complex federal projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of project management experience, including a strong track record overseeing Design-Build (DB) or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) efforts. This role requires expert knowledge of federal regulations and compliance, exceptional leadership capabilities, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget—while ensuring the highest standards of performance, safety, and client satisfaction. What You'll Do - Project Leadership: Directs integrated DB/EPC project teams from pursuit through close-out to ensure alignment with organizational goals and client expectations. - Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinates with federal agencies, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to align deliverables and foster collaboration. - Budget & Resource Oversight: Develops and manages project budgets, forecasts costs, and ensures effective resource allocation and utilization. - Compliance & Risk Management: Ensures full adherence to federal contract requirements (e.g., FAR, DFARS), proactively identifies risks, and implements mitigation strategies. - Scheduling & Milestones: Develops and maintains comprehensive project schedules, tracking milestones to meet project deadlines and performance objectives. - Team Leadership: Leads individual projects while mentoring, supervising, and motivating cross-functional project teams while fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, quality, and safety. - Reporting & Documentation: Provides and maintains detailed and timely status reports and project documentation to clients and senior leadership, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making. Qualifications - Minimum of 10 years managing State, Municipal, and Federal government projects, with a demonstrated ability to deliver results in complex and regulated environments. - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; management and a construction-based degree is preferred. - PMP certification preferred; PMP, Six Sigma, OSHA 30 or other relevant certifications are a must. - Deep familiarity with federal contracting procedures, compliance frameworks, and procurement standards (FAR, DFARS, 413, etc.). - Advanced knowledge of project management tools such as Kahua, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Active or ability to obtain federal security clearance, and background check as required by project stipulations.
