Role Description We are looking for a Senior Account Manager who thrives in complexity, thinks strategically, and knows how to turn relationships into lasting business impact. This is a high-impact role where you will lead major customer engagements, shape deal strategy, and help drive revenue growth across key accounts. - Own and grow strategic customer relationships, managing the full lifecycle from early engagement through deal execution and expansion - Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, developing winning strategies in competitive environments - Partner cross-functionally (engineering, finance, legal, operations) to deliver high-quality proposals and commercial solutions - Structure, negotiate, and close large, sophisticated deals that align customer needs with Nextpower’s capabilities - Develop and execute account plans to identify new opportunities and expand long-term partnerships - Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM data hygiene - Conduct customer business reviews and act as a trusted advisor on market trends, risks, and opportunities - Collaborate with sales leadership on pricing strategy, positioning, and go-to-market initiatives - Manage a team of Sales Analysts/Associates to support our customers Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field - 12+ years of experience in complex B2B sales (energy or infrastructure preferred) - Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Willingness to travel (~35% or as needed) Requirements - Strong commercial, technical, and interpersonal acumen - Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex problems with sound judgment - Proven success managing long, high-value B2B sales cycles with multiple stakeholders - Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate risks and uncover opportunities - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and drive to win Benefits - Comprehensive health care coverage - Dental and vision coverage - 401(K) participation including company matching - Company paid holidays with unlimited paid time off - Generous discretionary company bonuses - Life and disability protection - Stock compensation eligibility for certain positions
