Role Description In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. - Work model: Home based - Act as the technical lead, approving engineering designs and deliverables while ensuring technological excellence across projects. - Review and validate all project documentation for safety, cybersecurity, quality, and contractual compliance. - Lead the resolution of complex and unprecedented technical challenges, managing risks and identifying opportunities. - Partner with customers and the Sales organisation to shape, deliver, and continuously improve robust technical solutions. - Provide technical leadership through peer reviews, design verification, and application of advanced engineering methods. - Coach and guide engineering teams, promoting best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. - Ensure engineering activities meet cost, schedule, and quality targets throughout the project lifecycle. - Collaborate closely with project managers, supply chain, manufacturing, testing, and commissioning teams to ensure successful project execution. Qualifications - Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical, Electronic, or Engineering-related discipline. - Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior technical, engineering, or technical leadership role. - Strong knowledge of engineering design, verification, safety, cybersecurity, and quality standards. - Proven experience working with customers, Sales, and cross‑functional project teams. - Ability to assess and manage technical risks, costs, and contractual requirements. - Experience supporting proposals, technical presentations, and customer engagements. - Strong leadership mindset with the ability to coach, mentor, and influence others. - Proactive approach to innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
