Design Lead Toronto, ON Freelance Remote $45 - $50 /hr We are looking for a Designer who knows how to bring clarity, craft, and creative energy to the world of healthcare. Someone who can take complex science and turn it into visually compelling, strategically grounded design. You will collaborate with ACDs, Writers, Strategists, and Medical teams to create work that is both beautiful and compliant. This role will be 6+ months to FTE, 40 hours per week and remote. This role is ideal for a designer with deep agency experience who thrives in fast-paced, highly regulated environments. What You Will Do - Design for integrated campaigns across digital, social, print, and video - Translate clinical data and scientific concepts into clear, engaging visual communication - Partner with creative leads to develop concepts, layouts, and design systems - Work closely with writers to ensure visual and verbal alignment - Adapt designs based on MLR feedback while maintaining creative integrity - Contribute to photoshoots, motion projects, and brand identity development - Maintain consistency across all deliverables and channels - Collaborate with account, strategy, and medical teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility What You Bring - Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, design craft, and multi-channel work - Significant agency experience, ideally within pharma or healthcare - Ability to work within regulated environments without sacrificing creativity - Experience building scalable visual systems and brand guidelines - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with motion is a plus
