Dynamics 365 F&O (Finance) Functional Consultant

Role Description sa.global is looking for a motivated and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Functional Consultant with strong expertise in the Finance module to join our dynamic team in Malaysia. You will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through successful implementations and integrations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, empowering them to optimize their business processes and achieve enhanced performance. Main Responsibilities - Cover all aspects of consulting - including presales and supporting the sales team, product demonstrations, analysis, implementation, and training of end users utilizing Dynamics 365 F&O. - Provide expertise and in-depth knowledge of D365 F&O application, evaluating the customer's business processes against standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality. - Responsible for documenting the business requirements which express what actions a solution must take and what outcome is expected. - Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure a comprehensive set of requirements, aligned to business objectives, gaining full understanding of current and future state business processes. - Facilitate the customer's decision-making process and develop the functional design document that will drive the development process. - Responsible for conducting user acceptance testing and train customer resources to successfully use and maintain D365 F&O application. - Liaise with product vendors on any issues relevant for our customers or the company's services. - Ensure that the technical aspects of projects meet required standards for functionality, operability and documentation. - Work with project managers and team leaders to cater for resource changes across projects. - Liaise with developers and clients – act as a point of communication. - Responsible for quality assurance & documentation. - Production support as required. - Collaborate with teams globally. - Always self-update with the latest feature and technology of D365 F&O. Qualifications - Experience as a subject matter expert in D365 F&O, with a focus on Finance, with full project implementation experience. - Demonstrated experience developing functional specifications for D365 F&O enhancements and integrations. - Proven experience with setup, configuration, implementation, integration, and testing of D365 F&O solutions using best practices implementation methodology and/or Microsoft Sure Step methodology. - Excellent understanding and knowledge of core D365 F&O modules. - A working knowledge of best practices in their area of specialization/vertical. - Technical background / programming concept understanding would be an added advantage. - Ability to create high quality functional documentation and strong requirements gathering skills. - A demonstrated logical approach to problem solving and structured approach to introducing change into operational systems. - Excellent business communication skills with effective presentation and demonstration skills. - Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines. - Experience leading large complex technology projects. - Business intelligence understanding including reporting and analytics. - Possess a deep understanding of software implementation lifecycles, development methodologies, operating systems, technical platforms/architecture, and application servers. - Highly confident with providing support and training to users. - Possess strong relationship-building expertise with a wide and varied audience; internally and externally. - Strong attention to detail and a keen desire to deliver the highest quality solutions to customers. - Experience across a number of industries. - Solves complex problems with creative solutions. - Self-starter with ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities. - Thinks clearly and calmly under pressure. - Places emphasis on client satisfaction. - Business analysis and client facing skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a global team. - Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information technology or equivalent professional qualification. - Relevant Microsoft certifications are preferable. - Project Management certification is highly desirable.
