Role Description As a Lead Generation Representative for our AWS business, you are the engine at the top of our sales funnel. You are the first voice prospects hear and the partner our Account Executives rely on to open doors at new accounts. You will work in close alignment with a dedicated set of AEs to drive net-new pipeline into Softchoice's Cloud Lifecycle Services (CLS) and AWS practice. You will lead with our ISV and Marketplace messaging as a wedge into new conversations, position the value of Softchoice and AWS together, and own the quality of the meetings you hand off. This role reports into the demand generation organization and partners daily with our AE, AWS, marketing, and operations teams. This is not a heads-down dialing role. Success here means being a true partner to your AEs, treating their accounts with the same urgency they do, and being a professional voice for Softchoice in every prospect interaction. You will be coached, you will coach others, and you will help shape how this team operates. What you'll do: - Drive top-of-funnel pipeline through multi-channel prospecting (phone, email, social) into a defined set of accounts aligned to your AE partners. - Position Softchoice's CLS practice into new accounts. - Lead with ISV and Marketplace messaging as the wedge. - Run targeted campaigns jointly with your AEs, built collaboratively rather than in isolation. - Maintain a healthy daily activity bar (target range of 75 to 100 dials per day) with a focus on quality conversations, not just volume. - Book qualified discovery meetings (target of 1 to 2 per day, with a healthy weekly baseline of approximately 5). - Own Salesforce hygiene: add contacts, log activity, capture dispositions, and flag bad data so we sharpen targeting over time. - Manage the meeting handoff to your AEs with full context: prospect background, what was discussed, what they care about, and any objections raised. - Send clean, professional meeting invites that include a clear agenda, attendees, and conferencing details. The invite is the prospect's first impression of how we operate. - Process and follow up on leads from AWS partner programs and internal demand generation channels. - Coordinate with AWS field partners (CARs, PTMs) and internal marketing on targeted plays into your accounts. - Connect prospects to additional Softchoice and AWS resources, thought leadership, and subject matter experts. - Maintain a weekly sync cadence with each of your AEs, share what is working, and bring forward what is not. - Continuously sharpen your craft through call coaching, peer feedback, and active listening to your AEs' conversations. Qualifications - 1 to 2 years of customer service, inside sales, BDR/SDR, or related experience. - A customer-centric mindset with the maturity to represent Softchoice professionally to senior buyers. - High activity discipline paired with the judgment to pivot when data says a list or approach is not working. - Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to draft a clear, professional meeting invite and follow-up email. - Comfort with CRM hygiene (Salesforce experience preferred) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Orum, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator). - A self-starter mentality who thrives in a fast-paced, partnership-driven environment. - A "learn, grow, and teach" mindset. Bring questions, bring ideas, and share what you discover with the team. - Interest in cloud technology, AWS, and the ISV/Marketplace ecosystem (prior AWS exposure is a plus, not a requirement). - Resilience and a sense of ownership. When something is blocked, you raise it early rather than sitting on it. Compensation A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position [in Location] is $60,000 - $65,000 annually + 6% as target incentives. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Benefits - Health and Wellbeing: Medical, Dental, and Vision Care, Flexible Spending Account, Employee Assistance Program. - Financial Benefits: 401k Plan with Company Matching, Life and Disability Insurance. - Paid Time Off: PTO and Sick Leave (starting at 20 days per year), Holidays, Parental Leave, Volunteer Days, Bereavement Leave. - Additional Perks: Employee Discount Program.
