• Work in conjunction with engineering leadership to incorporate strategic objectives and define work plans and resource mobilization models for team • Ensure effective execution by self and team to achieve delivery objectives • Provide strategic input and influence with internal and external stakeholders in the domain of healthcare and general user interactions (web, mobile, omnichannel interaction) • Mentor junior engineers in modern software engineering models that focus on contract-first development, shift-left of design and test functions, and distributed software development and release collaboration models. • Mentor engineers and stakeholders in the development and deployment constraints and patterns for scalable platform digital experiences
Job Requirements
- 8+ years working in customer experience web delivery for 10M+ sized user populations
- 10+ years in software development for moderate-to-large organizations with mature information technology and software engineering practices
- 5+ years working in software lead role, with management and team leadership responsibilities
- Deep knowledge of modern web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.), reactive web patterns, and supporting models of publication & deployment (SPA, PWA, SSR, etc.)
- Experience with mobile transpilation frameworks (ex: React Native, Expo, Ionic, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of web/mobile supporting API models (Backend-for-frontend) and push mechanisms (Websockets, HTTP Push, etc.)
- Experience with various web session/authorization patterns (OAuth, JWT, PKCE, etc.)
- Experience in developing web/mobile applications that incorporate internationalization (i18n), accessibility (a11n), multimedia content delivery, and dynamic feature toggles
- Experience in Healthcare and familiarity with associated compliance / security obligations
