Role Description The Senior Proposals Manager is a people-leadership role responsible for the performance, development, and day-to-day management of proposal groups within the West region for Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG). This position oversees a team of Proposal Managers, Senior Proposal Coordinators, and Proposal Coordinators, ensuring consistent quality, on-time delivery, and professional growth across assigned groups. This role reports directly to the Director of Proposals and serves as a key leadership layer between the Director and the proposal execution teams. Client account assignments across groups are dynamic and will shift based on business needs; the Senior Proposals Manager is responsible for managing their teams effectively regardless of specific account configurations. The Senior Proposals Manager will provide day-to-day management direction for this role and coordinate with the Director of Proposals on content strategy and cross-regional support needs. While the primary focus is people management, this role includes secondary responsibility for pursuit-level oversight—ensuring proposal timelines, quality standards, and client expectations are met across the region’s active pursuits. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in proposal management, business development support, or a related role within the EPC, infrastructure, or energy industry. - 2+ years of direct people management experience, including performance management, coaching, and team development. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in a deadline-driven environment. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to give clear, constructive feedback. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint. - Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent work experience. Requirements - Directly manage and develop Senior Proposal Coordinators, Proposal Coordinators, and other assigned staff within the region. - Conduct regular one-on-ones, set performance expectations, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. - Own performance reviews, goal-setting, and professional development planning for all direct reports. - Address performance issues proactively and partner with HR Business Partners on corrective action when necessary. - Foster a positive, accountable team culture aligned with QISG values and the department’s communication norms. - Manage workload distribution across assigned groups, balancing capacity against active pursuits. - Serve as the first point of escalation for team-level interpersonal issues, workflow conflicts, or resource constraints. - Support onboarding and training of new team members. - Coordinate with the other Sr. Proposals Manager on cross-regional resource sharing and consistency of team practices. - Monitor the status, timelines, and quality of all active proposals within assigned groups. - Conduct quality reviews of key deliverables (RFIs, proposals, prequalification submissions). - Coordinate with the Director of Proposals on high-priority or complex pursuits. - Ensure proposal content aligns with QISG branding, technical accuracy standards, and client-specific requirements. - Identify process improvement opportunities and implement standardized workflows across assigned groups. Role Description Provide key support to the Senior Manager, Operations by effectively managing and providing a point of escalation to an assigned portfolio of test delivery points across the EMEA region. Ensure that the test delivery points have adequate trained staff. Provide coaching and training to Test Centre Managers and Test Centre Administrators in testing locations and make recommendations to improve performance at the test delivery points.
