Pricing Analyst IV – Change Order & Modifications
Amentum
• Leads activities associated with the development of medium to high complexity cost/price proposals • Works closely with team members in an often-dynamic quick turn environment on strategic planning, analysis, spreadsheet development, and budget analysis and regulatory compliance • Interfaces with Operations, Business Development and Functional Support groups to obtain/develop data necessary for developing prices or other components • Reviews data obtained and develops pricing models for medium to complex change order or modification proposals with minimal supervision • Develops and implements proposal strategies for achieving company objectives • Ensures compliance with the estimating system manual as well as other policies and procedures • Prepares cost narratives and any other cost/price volume requirements • Provides pricing guidance and support, as required, to field personnel performing pricing related activities • Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior pricing team members while fostering collaboration with senior-level pricing professionals to ensure best practices and optimal outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline; two (2) years of experience in contracts or pricing may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college
- Typically Eight (8) years of experience in cost proposal preparation or cost proposal development; relevant finance experience may be considered for some years in lieu of cost proposal preparation and development; 5 years of experience with a Master’s degree.
- US Citizenship is Required.
- Advanced Excel and mathematical skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to review and write pricing narrative responses
- Must be able to work extended hours, often with short notice, to meet deadlines.
