Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join the Investment COE team, supporting accounting and reporting activities across multiple investment asset types. This role focuses on financial reporting, reconciliations, investment expense management, and regulatory support while collaborating with internal teams and external partners. You will contribute to the accuracy and integrity of financial records while supporting IFRS, Statutory, and GAAP reporting requirements. - Prepare journal entries and monthly reconciliations for alternative and real estate assets. - Support quarterly IFRS and STAT reporting for assigned companies. - Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and accounting records. - Manage bank and general ledger reconciliations, including adjustments and documentation. - Review invoices and process investment-related expenses. - Support state compliance testing and regulatory reporting activities. - Collaborate with property management companies, asset managers, auditors, and internal stakeholders. - Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers for assigned companies. - Assist with ad hoc reporting and financial analysis requests. Role Description We are seeking a technically-minded accounting professional to lead revenue accounting and technical accounting matters within our growing fintech organization. This is a specialized role focused on revenue recognition under ASC 606, complex technical accounting research and memo drafting, equity and stock-based compensation accounting, and financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP. The role partners closely with FP&A, Legal, Product, and external auditors to ensure accurate accounting for new products, contracts, and strategic initiatives as the company scales. This is not a generalist staff accountant role. The ideal candidate brings public accounting experience, hands-on revenue recognition expertise, and the ability to independently research and document complex technical accounting positions. This role will report to the Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager.
