• Own and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reporting • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules across all accounts • Manage revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP, including deferred revenue, contract liabilities, and alignment between operational data and financial reporting • Drive financial analysis by identifying variances, investigating discrepancies, and providing insights to support business decision-making • Improve and scale accounting systems, processes, and internal controls, including automation, documentation, and audit-ready workflows • Oversee finance operations, including invoice approvals, payment processing, vendor coordination, and banking activities • Partner cross-functionally with Finance leadership, Operations, Product, and external stakeholders to support reporting, compliance, budgeting, and strategic initiatives
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial statement preparation
- Experience with revenue recognition concepts (ASC 606 familiarity preferred)
- Experience working with accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or similar
- Experience with payment platforms such as Stripe and expense platforms such as Ramp or Bill.com preferred
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- CPA or CPA-track preferred (Preferred)
- Experience in high-growth or startup environments (Preferred)
- Experience working with deferred revenue or contract-based business models (Preferred)

Accounts Payable Accountant
