• Participate in the month end close process, and will be responsible for the preparation and recording of journal entries. • Perform daily reconciliation of payments and disbursements. The role will also own the reconciliation of the related Balance Sheet accounts and the documentation of any observed variances. • Ensure that all daily payments are setup and approved in an accurate and timely manner. • Consolidate and share daily and weekly summaries of US banking activity with Capital Market and Finance teams. • Coordinate banking access and other core bank account administrative activities with the Finance and Treasury management executives. • Oversee that on a daily basis all vendor deposits are reconciled to the loan level detail. • Analyze, identify, and implement potential process and systems enhancements to create efficiencies and reduce resource allocation for routine tasks, procedures, and reports. • Assist with any internal/external audits to ensure all deliverables are met by designated due dates. • Assist with ad hoc research, analysis, and reconciliations for the Finance and Treasury departments.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale, cross-functional projects from initiation through execution and closure • Assist (Directors of Operations, Operations, Product, and Engineering teams) with the definition, design, and development of projects. • Establish project governance, timelines, milestones, and success metrics (KPIs/OKRs) • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and drive mitigation and resolution strategies • Ensure clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, including executive leadership • Coordinate resources, manage priorities, and ensure alignment across multiple teams • Drive change management efforts to support adoption of new processes, tools, or initiatives • Monitor project performance and provide regular status reporting and insights • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency • Support e2e process of preparation, elaboration and follow-up of the business UATs • Execute and coordinate UAT test cases, document defects, track issue resolution, and provide status updates to stakeholders. • Partner with technical and business users to gather feedback, validate system changes, and ensure successful deployment readiness.

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, reliable platform services and shared libraries. • Contribute to platform and system architecture decisions with a focus on reliability, scalability, and developer experience. • Write high-quality, maintainable code and set a strong example of engineering best practices. • Collaborate with Staff Engineers and peers to implement standards and patterns that support Continuous Delivery. • Identify and address performance, scalability, and reliability issues across platform services. • Participate actively in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions, providing thoughtful and constructive feedback. • Drive operational excellence by improving monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices. • Investigate root causes of production issues and implement long-term fixes to reduce on-call burden. • Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance. • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that create measurable business and customer value.

• Develop data products and machine learning models used in Risk, Fraud, Collections, and portfolio management, and provide frictionless customer experience for various products and services Oportun provides. • Build accurate and automated monitoring tools which can help us to keep a close eye on the performance of the models and rules. • Build model deployment platform which can shorten the time of implementing new models. • Build end-to-end reusable pipelines from data acquisition to model output delivery. • Lead initiatives to drive business value from start to finish including project planning, communication, and stakeholder management. • Lead discussions with Compliance, Bank Partners, and Model Risk Management teams to facilitate the Model Governance Activities such as Model Validations and Monitoring.

• Real Time monitoring for KPIs in Contact Center, analyses intraday information documentation, description including details if necessary due to impacts or issues • Intraday analysis that includes KPIs such as Campaigns completion, agent adherence for all departments • Skills adjustments to maintain KPIs, campaigns and operational needs • Process agendas and pauses required by operations in real time analyzing shrinkage planned and actuals • Process all agents time off request within parameters established • Support other teams with data needed from Workforce

• Lead and execute fair lending analytics and testing across credit decisioning, underwriting, marketing and fraud prevention strategies • Perform statistical analyses to assess disparate impact, bias, and fairness in models and business processes • Evaluate model inputs, features, and outputs for potential fair lending risks • Partner closely with the Head of Model Risk and Director of Model Validation to ensure alignment in methodologies, interpretation, and governance • Translate complex analytical results into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders, including Risk, Legal, Compliance, and senior management • Conduct independent model validation, annual model review, ongoing monitoring report review, required action item review/closure on the cutting-edge machine learning models. • Deliver high-quality model validation reports, highlighting risks and limitations of the model in a concise manner. • Work closely with business owners/model users and developers to understand the business context for model use and facilitate the model approval process. • Stay up to date with regulatory expectations of model development, use, and validation activities. • Support Oportun’s the model risk management framework, including annual validation plans, model inventory, model risk ranking, and model risk governance. • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with key model stakeholders. • Support the coordination of model risk governance practices with the model users.
